Jeep Frames

Regular jeep frames are made from combinations of channeled, boxed and tube steel. Newer models have a “frameless” uni-body design but this does not mean there is no frame, it merely means that the body panels, frame, and roll bar are a single piece which is only possible due to new innovations in manufacturing.

Uni-body jeep frames are stronger than their older counterparts which were bolted and welded together in pieces but they are much more difficult to reinforce and customize which is a necessity for jeep enthusiasts. Many people still choose to restore older models because of this.

Custom jeep frames are the best frames that can be put onto a jeep. The best of them are made from bent steel as opposed to welded. The frame is made from long pieces and then accurately bent around to make the enclosure for the engine and passengers. Reinforcing the frame is also popular but completely new frames are the best for extreme 4x4 adventures and rock crawling.
