Jeep Crawling

Jeep crawling is about slow speed precision maneuvers through apparently impassable rocks and other natural formations. They can climb areas that would appear to be impassable with only a little bit of effort but there are many upgrades and changes to the drive train to create an able rock crawler.

Some of the modifications for jeep crawling are incredibly large off road tires that can roll over large obstacles easier, locking differentials so all the wheels have power all the time, upgraded suspension that can move in every direction instead of just up and down, and a strong roll cage for protecting the driver. Rolling rock crawlers is common and scary to experience but relatively safe with a good cage.

Other jeep crawling modifications are the removal of the wheel wells and other areas of the body that could hinder the suspension and wheels as well as the addition of a winch for removal from the common sticky situation and a jack to get the vehicle over even larger rocks.
